Bowling Green OH is part of the Toledo Metropolitan area and is located in Wood County. Bowling Green OH was named after Bowling Green Kentucky by retired postal worker and was incorporated as town in 1855 and became a city in 1901.

Bowling Green OH is a fun place to live as we are surrounded by wonderful people and not matter what time of the year you can always find something fun for the entire family to take part of. Some of our annual events include the Black Swamp Arts Festival in September, the National Tractor Pulling championships which Bowling Green has hosted since 1967 and is held at the Wood County Fairgrounds. This event alone draws in an estimated 60,000 people to the Bowling Green OH area.

We also have Winterfest which is an annual three day event in February to celebrate winter, snow and cold weather activities.
